The second season of The Bachelor South Africa came to an end last night with one romantic proposal – but it wasn’t without some heartbreak as well. In the dramatic season finale, Marc Buckner asked shy 24-year-old speech therapist Marisia Van Wyk to continue their relationship as he broke things off with 31-year-old travel agent Bridget Marshall.

After a dramatic episode of The Bachelor South Africa this week, Marc Buckner is getting closer and closer to potentially finding his dream girl as the show’s second season readies its finale. However, our first bachelor Lee Thompson did, unfortunately, not find love on the show. This week, Marc Buckner took 24-year-old Afrikaans speech therapist, Marisia on a romantic date to Maropeng where they took their relationship to the next level and things got streamy when Marc invited Pasha, Rikki, Pi, Nolo, Jess.C and Silke to a fun day at a water park. However, it was back at the mansion where things really got interesting.
