Fred Durst and John Travolta’s ‘The Fanatic’ trending again due to how little it made at the box office

John Travolta and Fred Durst’s box office bomb The Fanatic is trending again, with people scarcely believing how little money the movie made.Released in 2019, the film, which the Limp Bizkit frontman directed, took a paltry $3,153 (£2,489) at the box office in its opening day. It is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film may have barely been seen in theatres at the time, but with the title trending on social media over recent days, it does continue to have an unfortunate life of its own, some five years later. One account on X, formerly Twitter, wrote: “Just learned there is a movie that Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst wrote and directed starring John Travolta as an autistic stalker, and it only made $3000 at the box office.”Just learned there is a movie that Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst wrote and directed starring John Travolta as an autistic stalker, and it only made $3000 at the box office.

Lost Limp Bizkit mod for ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ has been rediscovered

Fallout: New Vegas that adds Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst to the game has been rediscovered, years after it was supposedly lost. The original but unofficial Limp Bizkit mod was released in 2015 and saw a Fred Durst lookalike take on the role of Fallout: New Vegas companion but would only talk in song lyrics. However, less than a year after it was released, it was seemingly wiped from Nexus Mods forever. The only clip of it to survive the purge was this 40-second Youtube video, “My Fred Durst Mod For Fallout: NV”.Despite apparently being lost to time, the original Limp Bizkit mod was rediscovered over the weekend and swiftly restored.“Ladies and Gentlemen, today we’ve made modding history,” wrote YouTuber MickyD on social media.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ Review: Jane Schoenbrun Assaults The Senses With A Trippy Gut Punch – Sundance Film Festival

In the space of just two movies, Jane Schoenbrun has established a completely unique aesthetic; from the opening credits alone, a riot of black light and neon pastels, it’s obvious that I Saw the TV Glow comes from the same mind that created the trippy 2021 cult hit We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. Anyone puzzled by the latter is advised to stay clear, since the follow-up is more vertiginously dizzying and twice as impressionistic, causing lots of head-scratching at its Sundance premiere. For those ready and willing to embrace its commitment to mood over logic, I Saw the TV Glow is a must-see, pairing the otherworldly ambience of Kyle Edward Ball’s Skinamarink with the morbid surrealism of Charlie Kaufman’s Synecdoche, New York. The Simpsons characters covering Muse and Limp Bizkit have gone viral online. Check them out below.Over the past few months, the debate about the use of AI in music has proved to be a divisive one, with some artists openly rejecting the concept of using platforms like ChatGPT to write songs, while others – including Paul McCartney – have embraced the technology with open arms. Now, thanks to TikTok user @mememusic117, AI has been used for a more unorthodox purpose – delivering some essential rock tracks in the style of characters from The Simpsons. The clips show the characters coming together to perform songs such as Muse’s ‘Starlight’ and Limp Bizkit’s ‘Break Stuff’ for some Springfield locals, as accompanied by two Transformer backing dancers. For both clips, Homer takes on the role of vocalist, while Marge plays the electric guitar and Bart sits behind the drum kit.Strangely enough, Lisa – the only family member recognised for her musical abilities in the show – isn’t featured in the Muse clip, nor is Maggie.
