The show, dedicated to confrontation between famous chess player Garry Kasparov and IBM’s supercomputer Deep Blue, was named the winner at Series Mania. A somewhat lukewarm reception of “Apples Never Fall” didn’t stop Annette Bening from being crowned as best actress.
Nicole Kidman will be joined by Henry Golding, Mark Strong and Lena Olin in season two of Nine Perfect Strangers, the Hulu series that’s based on the bestselling book of the same name by Liane Moriarty.

Variety has learned that Henry Golding, Mark Strong, and Lena Olin have all signed on to the second season of the series. The show was officially renewed back in June 2023, with Nicole Kidman set to return as resort director Masha as well as in her capacity as executive producer.
