Leonardo DiCaprio and legendary producer and former studio head Mike Medavoy are credited as producers.

He was 71. Williams’ death was confirmed by his agent, Barry McPherson, in a statement to People. Vermont State Police reported a road closure near Dorset due to a motor vehicle accident at 5:24 p.m. No further details about Williams’ death are available at this time. At the age of 28, Williams received acclaim for his performance in “Hair,” Miloš Forman’s big screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. Williams earned a Golden Globe nomination in the now-defunct category new star of the year (actor). Two years later he was competing again, this time in best actor in a motion picture drama for his performance in Daniel Ciello’s “Prince of the City.”

Not only did the comedy legend’s variety show run on the network for 11 seasons, but so did its 50th anniversary special in 2017. “We first went to CBS, but they passed,” Burnett told me at an FYC event for the birthday special. “I did my show with them and all my specials, so naturally we went to them.” Fortunately, NBC bought the special, and it went on to score an impressive 7.6 million viewers. It’s now favored to pick up an Emmy nomination. “NBC couldn’t have been greater,” she said. “They’ve been so supportive right from the get-go.”

The first digitally shot feature from the famed director of such cult works as “The Elephant Man,” “Blue Velvet” and “Mulholland Drive,” “Inland Empire” stars Laura Dern as Nikki, a once-celebrated actress who lands the lead role in a film by director Kingsley Stewart (Jeremy Irons) alongside co-star Devon (Justin Theroux). The production is a remake of a work filmed several years ago but never finished because the main actors died before shooting wrapped.

The network is set to air “Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love” on April 26, and the special features both new performances and clips from Burnett’s storied career. And it gave Burnett a chance to reminisce with old friends — and new. “It’s exactly what I wanted,” Burnett said. “I didn’t want a birthday party with cake and balloons and confetti and all of that. What I wanted was to have an entertaining show. And that’s what we got. It’s a variety show, with live entertainment by Bernadette Peters, Kristin Chenoweth, Billy Porter, Katy Perry, Darren Criss and Sutton Foster. Laura Dern said she felt the "walls crumbling down" around her in 2018 when a doctor told her that her mother Diane Ladd might only have six months to live after her lungs had been scarred most likely by her exposure to pesticide spraying near her home.  But she felt encouraged when he said taking her on walks each day might expand her lungs.  So she moved to Santa Monica to stay with her mom, writing in their new book: "These walks might be our final moments together.They only way I can cope with my fear of her dying is by making sure that we talk about everything and that we leave nothing unsaid."   The "Jurassic Park" actress and Ladd began to walk each day, which the "Chesapeake Shores" star noted in the book felt "impossible" to her at first because of her reduced lung capacity, but as the walks got longer their conversations did as well and their understanding of each other deepened.  The pair recorded their conversations and have turned them into a book out this week called "Honey, Baby, Mine: A Mother and Daughter Talk Life, Death, Love (and Banana Pudding)." Dern continued, "In the months that followed, we talked through happy memories and old wounds – some of which healed as a result of these conversations. I became closer to my mother than I ever had been before.

Jurassic Park almost died on set.The actor starred in Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, alongside Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern.In his recently released memoir Did I ever Tell You This?, Neill reflected on their near-death experience while shooting the film in Hawaii.“We almost died in the first few weeks where we were filming on Kauai in the Hawaiian archipelago,” he wrote (via People Magazine).He continued: “One morning we were told to stay back at the hotel and expect a hurricane later in the day. I was down on the beach with Laura Dern, who asked me: ‘Sam, do you think we might die today?’“As these massive black clouds approached over the Pacific I found I had to tell her that in all honesty the answer was, ‘Yes, I thought we might.”On September 5, 1992, Hurricane Iniki struck Hawaii during the Jurassic Park shoot.
