District Attorney George Gascón, among others, over false paedophile charges.The actor, who played the Thenn Warg in season four of the HBO fantasy series, is suing the defendants for $40million (£31.6million) in relation to the dismissed charges against him.In the lawsuit, shared by Entertainment Weekly, Gatt claims the defendants “publicly branded him as a serial paedophile,” which in turn ruined his reputation and career.

Prosecutors in Harvey Weinstein’s Los Angeles rape trial said Tuesday that they have decided not to move forward with four counts relating to Jane Doe #5. It means the producer now faces seven counts against the four remaining Jane Does: two counts of rape and five counts of sexual assault.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) is still ongoing, but the department has submitted its initial findings to the L.A. District Attorney’s Office, The Daily Beast first reported Monday and a representative of the D.A.’s office has confirmed to The FADER. J. Kim Murphy Rakim Mayers, better known by his stage name A$AP Rocky, faces two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm with allegations of personally using a firearm. Los Angeles county District Attorney George Gascón announced that his office had filed charges against the rapper on Monday.“Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,” Gascón said in a statement.

A$AP Rocky has been released from jail. Rocky was booked and released Wednesday on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon (firearm), stemming from an alleged incident that took place in November 2021, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to ET.«Yes, he was released,» LAPD Public Information Officer Lee said.The 33-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Rakim Mayers, had just returned from a vacation in Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna, when he was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday morning. He was interviewed at the LAPD Robbery Homicide Division before being booked at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office on Monday announced it would decline to charge protesters arrested over the past two weeks on suspicion of curfew violation and/or failure to disperse. Bothcurfew violations and failure to disperse aremisdemeanors, meaning it will be up to some city attorneys to determine whether to file charges, which includes Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Torrance, Burbank, Inglewood, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach.
