Peacock has released the full trailer of Apples Never Fall, the limited series starring Annette Bening and Sam Neill, based on Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel.
Peacock‘s limited series Apples Never Fall, starring Annette Bening and Sam Neill, has set a release date of March 14, and unveiled a first-look teaser (watch it above).
Peacock has released some of the first images of Apples Never Fall, Peacock’s upcoming limited series based on Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers author Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel. Annette Bening and Sam Neill lead the cast, along with Alison Brie, Jake Lacy, Conor Merrigan-Turner and Essie Randles. The series is set to release on the streamer in March.

Katrina Lenk (“Ozark,” “Little Voice”), Timm Sharp (“Enlightened,” “Blunt Talk”), Nate Mann (“Masters of the Air,” “Licorice Pizza”), Paula Andrea Placido (“Hacks,” “Shameless”), Pooja Shah (“L Word: Generation Q,” “Westworld”), and Quentin Plair (“Tiny Beautiful Things,” “Welcome to Chippendales”) have all joined the series. They will appear alongside previously announced cast members Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Jake Lacy, ALison Brie, Essie Randles, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Georgia Flood, Jeanine Serralles, and Dylan Thuraisingham.
Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Stephen Sondheim’s final musical “Here We Are” is hitting the stage in the fall. The legendary musical theater figure, who composed “Sunday in the Park with George,” “Follies,” “Sweeney Todd” and countless other Broadway classics, died in 2021 at the age of 91. The musical, formerly known as “Square One,” was in the works prior to his death and took inspiration from two Luis Buñuel films, “The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie” and “The Exterminating Angel.” Joe Mantello, whose credits include Sondheim’s “Assassins,” as well as “Wicked” and “Take Me Out,” is directing “Here We Are.” The strictly limited engagement will begin September 2023 in The Shed’s Griffin Theater, an Off-Broadway venue near Manhattan’s Hudson Yards neighborhood. Casting will be announced soon.
Hong Chau (“The Whale,” “The Menu”), Anna Camp (“Pitch Perfect”), Melanie Lynskey (“The Last of Us”) and Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Abbott Elementary”) are among the presenters for its 38th Artios Awards taking place in both Los Angeles and New York City. Also presenting at the Los Angeles gala alongside host Yvette Nicole Brown are Utkarsh Ambudkar, Paul Walter Hauser, Andrew Leeds, Sam Richardson, Britt Robertson, Glynn Turman and Tuc Watkins.
