Titled “Is There Still Sex in The City,” the program will follow four friends in their fifties as they navigate the immersive dating experience in a “love do-over” where they trade in their busy city lives for a “dating utopia.” “They’ll live together in a cozy country chateau where they’ll have their pick of a different group of men in each episode.

In the first season, fans got to know the “Rocky” star’s wife, who is the co-owner of the Serious Skin Care wellness brand and a businesswoman, as well as what his three girls are up to. The oldest, Sophia, is still finding her focus and co-hosts the “Unwaxed” podcast with Sistine; Sistine, an actress and model, who was hard at work developing her first feature film; and Scarlet whose acting career was taking off while she continued to pursue her studies in college. She recently appeared in Season 1 of “Tulsa King.” In addition to the family, some familiar faces by the likes of Al Pacino and Dolph Lundgren also made brief cameos.

Hudgens teamed up with Bunim-Murray Productions to produce an unscripted film, “Dead Hot: Season of the Witch,” Variety has learned exclusively. The project documents Hudgens’ journey in Salem, Mass., along with her best friend, musician GG Magree, as they set out to learn about witchcraft, ghost hunting and connecting with the spirit world. “Dead Hot” is in post-production, and the project is currently being shopped to outlets. Banijay Rights, the international distribution division of Banijay (which owns Bunim-Murray), is handling distribution.

Todd Spangler NY Digital EditorReality TV pioneer Bunim-Murray Productions is throwing its hat into the NFT ring.The production company teamed with tech startup Virtual Arts to form Wonderfuel, an entertainment company that intends to develop a slate of unscripted TV shows funded by sales of nonfungible tokens (NFTs).Wonderfuel (wonderfuel.co) plans to shop its shows to traditional TV networks and streaming platforms, and the shows are also expected to be available on Web3 platforms to NFT owners. The companies said that new NFTs — which verify the ownership of unique pieces of digital content using distributed blockchain technology — will be minted and released alongside the shows, giving fans the opportunity to access “unique rewards, from involvement in creative decisions to sharing in prizes and unique fan experiences.” Wonderfuel’s sale of NFTs will enable both partial and full funding of future shows, the companies said.
