Great British Bake Off star Val Stones seems a little baffled to hear from fans that her voice features in new animated film DC League of Super-Pets. Val starred in the 2016 series when Mary Berry was still judging alongside Paul Hollywood, but was sadly the fifth contestant to be booted out after a disastrous pastry week. At the time, Val amused viewers by listening to her cakes and performing aerobics while baking.

Pat Saperstein Deputy EditorAfter a strong weekend opening for “A Quiet Place 2,” Paramount has dated a third entry in the horror franchise for March 31, 2023.“Mud” director David Nichols will take over from John Krasinki as helmer, with a story based on an idea by Krasinski.

Paramount is pushing the release of A Quiet Place Part IIearlier after originally delaying the film’stheatrical release. John Krasinki, who wrote and directed the film, took to social media Thursday night to share that the anticipated second installment will now release on Memorial Day.
