Jimmy Doherty is swapping his Suffolk farm for sunny Florida as the keen foodie travels across the US state to visit its culinary hotspots. However, the ITV1 series isn’t just a regular travel show for Jimmy – as he finally fulfilled his lifelong dream of ticking Florida off his list of must-see holiday destinations. “Growing up, my view of Florida was Miami Vice, Gentle Ben, Flipper and all that kind of stuff.

James Martin stepped back from hosting duties for his weekend cooking series, James Martin's Saturday Morning, as he continues to undergo treatment for cancer in private. It was the 51 year old's decision to take a break with Jimmy Doherty's cooking series to take over James' Saturday morning slot.

James Martin's reported "replacement" on ITV is set to be Jimmy Doherty, as the TV chef is said to be joining the channel for a brand new on-location cookery series in the new year.The news, which comes following popular 51 year old star James' decision to "take a break" as he continues to deal with his cancer treatment in private, will mean a big shake-up for ITV.The channel kept James Martin's Saturday Morning programme as a staple for years, but with the TV chef's health taking centre-stage, they have rejigged their schedule. Jimmy's new programme will see the star jetting off around Florida to sample and cook various different local dishes.The five-episode series is said to be launching in February 2024, according to The Sun. The show was unveiled at Visit Florida's World Travel Market dinner at a swanky location in London earlier this week.

The character-filled coupe is being sold directly from Mr Oliver's private classic car collection, which reportedly includes a 1950s Land Rover Defender and a classic 1967 Ford Mustang that belongs to his wife, Jools.

'Jamie & Jimmy's Friday Night Feast' has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Channel 4 series - which sees TV chef Jamie Oliver and farmer Jimmy Doherty joined by a different celebrity guest in their pop-up bistro on Southend Pier for each episode - is unable to be filmed at the small location due to the ongoing social distancing rules.
