We had a question for Jeffrey Wright, but we knew we had to be careful with it. The star of Cord Jefferson‘s award-season darling, “American Fiction,” is in the running for a Best Actor Oscar nomination and has already won several critics’ group awards.

As such, it makes sense for Robert Pattinson to make some kind of fleeting appearance to drive excitement, whether as Batman or as Bruce Wayne.There’s a chance other characters from the original film could make guest appearances too, including Zoe Kravitz’ Catwoman and Jeffrey Wright’s James Gordon.Max released a trailer for the series in March – check it out above.This isn’t the only spin-off show in the pipeline, with a series about Arkham Asylum also in development from The Staircase showrunner Antonio Campos.In a four-star review of The Batman, NME wrote: “Director Matt Reeves has mixed up gritty mob drama with film-noir detective thriller – and thanks to Dano’s ultra-creepy villain, some psychological horror too.

The first six episodes of Season 1 surprise dropped on Paramount+ on Thursday, with the remaining seven episodes set for a later date. Spanning eons of human history, “Ark: The Animated Series” follows 21st century paleontologist Helena Walker (voiced by Madeleine Madden), who finds herself resurrected on a mysterious primeval island populated by prehistoric beasts.

Surprise! The first six episodes of Ark: The Animated Series, based on the hit adventure video game Ark: Survival Evolved, are available to stream now exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.
