Penske Media Corp. has promoted George Grobar to the role of company President, effective immediately. Grobar, who has been at PMC for 14 years, previously served as Chief Operating Officer with oversight of the company’s operating units and many of the corporate departments. He most recently led the integration of The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard into PMC and oversaw a portfolio of PMC’s music and entertainment brands, in addition to corporate planning functions.

Forty four year old Kevin Turen was in his Tesla with his 10 year old son when he became unwell. His brave son reportedly took control of the car, which was on autopilot, steering it to safety on the side of the highway before dialling 999.

Dick Clark Productions said Thursday that it has hired Richard A. Pizante as its new SVP Production. The veteran producer, whose credits include co-executive producing on the first season of NBC’s The Voice and working on the Primetime Emmys, the BET Honors and the 2019 TV special Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Opry, will be based out of Los Angeles and begin immediately.

after years of controversy.DCP announced Monday that it and asset management company Eldridge have acquired all the assets, rights and properties of the Golden Globes from the HFPA. The HFPA was founded in 1943 by a group of LA-based entertainment journalists.

Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge said Monday morning that they have acquired all the Golden Globes’ assets, rights and properties from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. As a result, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and its membership, which have handed out the awards, will be winding down.

PME is a PMC subsidiary and joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge.

Penske Media Corporation said Wednesday that it has acquired Artforum International Magazine, a leading voice in the contemporary art world.

Penske Media Corporation has acquired ATX TV, the parent company of the ATX Television Festival, which takes place every June in Austin, TX. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
