A restaurant where a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a teenage boy has been stripped of its licence. Stockport council licensing chiefs said they had ‘no faith’ in the management of Loona, in Cheadle Hulme, after hearing evidence at a town hall hearing.The Station Road venue’s licence was suspended last month after police urgently called a review following a report that a teenage girl had been raped in the female toilets. It has now been permanently revoked after councillors found it had operated with a 'consistent and sustained disregard' for licensing rules.Coun Alanna Vine, who chaired the three-strong panel, said there had been ‘significant and repeated failures’ which demonstrated a ‘sustained disregard for the licensing objectives’.
