EXCLUSIVE: Jay Duplass (The Chair), Sonny Poon Tip (Holby City) and Katrine De Candole (Crow) are set as new series regulars opposite Myha’la Herrold for Season 2 of HBO/BBC’s investment banking drama Industry, from creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay.
EXCLUSIVE: Writer-producer Jami O’Brien is getting into business with HBO, signing a two-year overall deal with the premium cabler. Under the pact, she will develop new material for the network, executive produce the second season of HBO’s hit series, Industry and serve as Consulting Producer on the new season of Emmy-winning drama In Treatment.
HBO Today announced that the new season of In Treatment starring Uzo Aduba will premiere in May. HBO Max recently announced And Just Like That, a revival of HBO’s signature comedy series Sex and the City (without original star Kim Cattrall). HBO also is developing a True Blood reboot with Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and NOS4A2 creator Jami O’Brien. (That project is in very early stages, and there are no current plans for original cast members to return.)
