EastEnders’ Stevie Basaula has confirmed he's leaving the hit BBC soap in the wake of speculation that his character Isaac Baptiste was leaving Albert Square. Stevie first joined EastEnders is 2020 as Patrick Trueman's son, and said he will “cherish” the two years he spent on the programme and credited it for being part of his “growth” as an actor. His decision comes just days after his co-star Zack Morris announced he was also leaving the show, while Maisie Smith quit late last year.

However, Ruby Allen and Martin Fowler called the police over the matter, and after seeing the law enforcement arrive, Isaac quickly ran back indoors.
