EXCLUSIVE: Happy Face has rounded out its series regular cast, adding Khiyla Aynne (Circuit Breakers) and Benjamin Mackey (The Morning Show) alongside Annaleigh Ashford, Dennis Quaid, James Wolk and Tamera Tomakili. David Harewood (Homeland) also joins the upcoming Paramount+ drama series in a recurring role. The series hails from creator and executive producer Jennifer Cacicio and executive producers Robert and Michelle King. EXCLUSIVE: James Wolk (Ordinary Joe) has been tapped as a lead opposite Annaleigh Ashford and Dennis Quaid in Paramount+ upcoming drama series Happy Face. Quaid will play the titular role of the real-life serial killer notoriously called “Happy Face” because of the smiley faces he drew on evidence where he bragged about his crimes. Ashford stars as his daughter, Melissa.

Grey's Anatomy's finale is coming a bit sooner than we thought.  Since production shut down a few weeks earlier than planned due to the coronavirus pandemic, the season finale will now air on April 9. It's titled "Put On a Happy Face," and it was originally supposed to be followed by four more episodes this season.  There are no plans to finish those final four episodes this season, so this will be the end of season 16.

Grey's Anatomy fans are getting a shortened season of the hospital drama amidst the coronavirus pandemic that shut down production on the ABC series in mid-March. TV Guide has learned that Episode 21, "Put on a Happy Face," which airs Thursday, April 9, will be the last for Season 16 of Grey's, as it was the last episode that was completely filmed before the production hiatus.
