Emmerdale's Belle Dingle's new love interest appears to be "sealed" amid an ITV soap villain's "return". It was reported on Tuesday that Thomas King is reportedly set for an "explosive" return to the hit ITV soap after ten years.Thomas, whose dad is late killer Carl King, is apparently making a shocking comeback next month and will be played by newcomer James Chase.

After months of failed relationships and more than her fair share of misery, Emmerdale bosses have revealed that there could finally be a little sunshine on the horizon for Belle Dingle in the coming months. Regular viewers will have seen Belle embroiled in some fairly hefty storylines in recent years, including living with schizophrenia, being the victim of evil Lachlan White and most recently a failed affair with devious vet Jamie Tate and the death of her business partner Al Chapman.

Emmerdale actor Aaron Anthony, who stars as Ellis Chapman, looks set to leave the ITV soap next week, following reports of a race row on set. New spoilers for next week’s episodes of Emmerdale hint at Ellis’ exit storyline involving Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper).This comes after Aaron reportedly clashed with Matthew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins, who play David Metcalfe and Victoria Sugden respectively.The actor and actress have denied any allegations of wrongdoing. According to The Mirror, the 28 year old actor, who has played Ellis since 2019, decided to quit his role as his soap alter-ego after Emmerdale bosses launched a probe against two of the show's stars.
