Countryfile presenter Ellie Harrison has revealed she is quitting the BBC show after 13 years. The 45 year old TV star broke the news in her last ever column for Countryfile magazine.

Countryfile fans were worried about host Adam Henson after spotting a mystery mark on his face during the show on Easter Sunday. After viewers were left concerned about his appearance, they rushed online to express their worries. Although the presenter visited Trent Valley during the episode, it seemed people were more interested in a large scratch that spanned across his entire cheek.

Ellie Harrison has appeared on BBC's Countryfile for 13 years and fans of the programme adore her enthusiasm for the natural world and love of outdoorsy pursuits.

Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton headed to the Peak District to join Pete, a shareholder in the local pub, who was also known as a local climbing legend. The Countryfile host explained: "When he's not in his favourite chair at the pub, local climbing legend Pete can be found dangling from rocks like these. " Helen went on to learn how to climb with Pete and his friends, Olly and Crystal.
