Thania Garcia SZA, Chris Brown, J. Cole and Nicki Minaj are set to headline the Dreamville Festival in Dorothea Dix Park in North Carolina from April 6-7. Brown and SZA will end the night on April 6, while Cole and Minah will each close out their respective sets on April 7.

Usher played a brutal prank on his crowd at Dreamville over the weekend, tricking them into thinking he’d be joined onstage by Beyoncé.The third edition of J. Cole’s boutique festival – named for his Dreamville Records label – went down at the Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina over the weekend (Saturday April 1 and Sunday 2), with Usher appearing alongside the likes of Drake, Burna Boy, Sean Paul, Lil Durk, J.I.D and GloRilla. After performing both parts of ‘Confessions’ towards the end of the set, Usher brought his prank – teased repeatedly throughout the night – to its climax: spurring on an eruption of cheers, he told the crowd, “I said I would have a special surprise for you tonight, ladies and gentlemen.

Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor J. Cole has announced the full music lineup for this year’s Dreamville Festival, set to return to Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 1-2. Cole’s festival-closing set will also feature a guest appearance from Drake. GA, GA+ and VIP two-day passes are on sale now. Day 1 on Saturday will be headlined by R&B star Usher and will also feature performances from Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Sean Paul, Earthgang, Jessie Reyez, and Key Glock, among others. Sunday features Nigerian superstar Burna Boy along with Summer Walker, J.I.D, GloRilla, Bas, Waka Flaka Flame, Mario, many more.

The Dreamville Festival, a one-day multi-artist concert curated by rapper J. Cole, has been postponed. Originally scheduled for April 4 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, the fest will now take place on Saturday, August 29. The venue remains the same.
