While the nation is celebrating King Charles' Coronation, there will be another big bash happening across the pond. Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle skipped the Coronation and stayed in California, where the couple live with their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. As the historic event falls on Archie's fourth birthday, this is believed to have been a factor in 41 year old Meghan's choice not to attend.

Prince Harry has been spotted at Heathrow airport as he prepares to jet back home to California. As soon as King Charles' Coronation had finished, Harry, 38, jumped in a car and set off for the airport.

While Prince Harry and the rest of the world watch the pomp and circumstance of King Charles III at his coronation at Westminster Abbey, Meghan Markle will be at home with their two young children giving Prince Archie a "low-key" birthday party on May 6, according to a report.  "It's going to be a low-key party at home," a source told People magazine this week.  Harry and Meghan settled in Montecito, California, after they stepped down as senior royals in 2020.  The source continued, "They'll have friends around them and Meghan's mom, Doria [Ragland]. Meghan will definitely have support that weekend." Princess Lilibet will also attend her older brother’s birthday, the source confirmed.  "They are so sweet together," they added.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning to renew their wedding vows in the US - with Netflix camera crews invited but "only one" family member. It's rumoured that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were married on 29 May 2018, are looking to hold the new ceremony later this year with plans for a second honeymoon.
