Katie Holmes’ “Alone Together” has a release date. The film, which premiered last month at Tribecca Film Festival, has released a short and sweet trailer, which shows a bit of what viewers can expect.

You can accuse writer/director/star Katie Holmes of doing a lot of things in her sophomore feature “Alone Together,” but you certainly can’t say she doesn’t wear her influences on her sleeve. The picture opens with a throwback jazzy vocal track over shots of the NYC skyline, Central Park, and the Upper West Side; the Nora Ephron vibes are palpable.

The Crossover, Disney+’s basketball drama series, has found its narrator.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterDisney Plus has ordered the drama series “The Crossover,” based on the book of the same name by Kwame Alexander.The project was first ordered to pilot at the streamer in March 2021. Production on the series will begin in February. The show introduces teen brothers Josh and JB Bell, widely considered basketball phenomenon.
