EXCLUSIVE: Oakes Fegley (The Fabelmans, The Goldfinch) and Dayo Okeniyi (See, Rise) are set as leads opposite Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly in Dark Matter, an adaptation of Blake Crouch’s acclaimed sci-fi novel, at Apple TV+. In addition to Edgerton and Connelly, they join previously announced series regulars Alice Braga and Jimmi Simpson in the series from Sony Television and also executive produced by Edgerton.

"I saw a car speeding by in front of my house and a few moments later I heard a crash," Manpearl detailed to Fox News Digital on Saturday.  After hearing the crash, he made his way down the street to assist in the crash.

Matt Tolmach (Jumanji franchise) also will executive produce and Sony Pictures Television will produce for Apple TV+.

EXCLUSIVE: Showtime is developing Blocks, a half-hour comedy from filmmaker-actor Bridget Moloney, producer Matt Tolmach (Spider-Man: No Way Home), High Maintenance co-creator Ben Sinclair and Sony Pictures Television. Moloney will write, direct and executive produces the potential pilot.

EXCLUSIVE: In a competitive situation, MGM has secured feature rights to Minnie Schedeen’s short story Exoplanet. The Old Guard director Gina Prince-Bythewood is attached to helm, and Matt Tolmach (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Venom, Morbius) and David Manpearl are attached to produce for Matt Tolmach Productions. Schedeen will adapt her short story for the screen.
