The 2023 Oscar nominations for Best Original Score and Best Original Song have been announced. The 95th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Rihanna and Mitski have earned their first Academy Award nomination, with Rih's “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and "This Is A Life," a song co-written by Mitski, David Byrne, and Ryan Lott, up for Best Original Song at this year’s Oscars.

Here Lies Love, the acclaimed “immersive disco musical” about Imelda Marcos from David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, will premiere on Broadway this summer, with Alex Timbers directing and Annie-B Parson choreographing.

This Friday, October 7, will bring the release of the aptly titled Good Music To Ensure Safe Abortion Access To All compilation. The Bandcamp-exlusive album will be available for just 24 hours with all proceeds going towards organizations facilitating abortion access.

Filming will be well underway this weekend as RadicalMedia plans to shoot the week-long series of tribute concerts taking place in Nashville under the banner of “You Got Gold,” including shows at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday and at the Ryman Auditorium Sunday and Monday. The all-star lineup for these shows is not being publicly revealed in advance. Footage for the “You Got Gold” concerts is being directed by Michael John Warren, who recently helmed the HBO documentary “Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known” for RadicalMedia.
