Reggie Jackson has been winning hearts since he first turned up in Call The Midwife eight years ago. The role is beautifully played by actor Daniel Laurie, who joined the BBC One period drama through a heartbreaking storyline. His character's mum had a heart attack in a church, leaving Reggie alone at home, wondering where his dear mum had gone.

It’s 1969 when the midwives and nurses of Nonnatus House return to help deliver lots more babies - and some of their best scenes yet. Series thirteen of Call the Midwife returns with a guest appearance from comic Rosie Jones and two new faces join the team. All our old favourites are back too - and writer Heidi Thomas tells us what’s coming up.

EastEnders fans will remember the lovable Minty Peterson (Cliff Parisi) who was in Albert Square for eight years between 2002 and 2010. During his first appearance he was known as Rick but was later called Minty by his friends because he was always running late to work (his nickname is also a nod to the chocolate After Eight). He enjoyed nearly a decade of failed romances and being thick as thieves with some Walford icons before his departure, but because it’s been so long since Minty packed his bags, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane.

Rolling Stones track he sang on - so he can claim the royalties on it.  The actor, 70, who is best known for playing detective Lester Freamon in The Wire, is currently competing on Celebrity MasterChef.  In addition to his acting career, the entertainer also provided backing vocals for hits such as Boogie Nights by Heatwave back in 1977.

Celebrity MasterChef spoilers follow. Tonight's (August 19) episode of Celebrity MasterChef saw Mel Blatt, Cliff Parisi and Gareth Malone battle it out for two semi-final places. The celebrities had to cook for not only the judges but former Celebrity MasterChef contestants Vicky Pattison and Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and the 2018 champion John Partridge.

Celebrity MasterChef episode, however, it was the end of the road for Queen MoJo. The Peckham’s Finest presenter was one of the five stars included in the second week of heats alongside Chris Eubank, Cliff Parisi, Gareth Malone, and Mel Blatt. Time wasn’t on Queen MoJo’s side in the final challenge, after judge Gregg Wallace tasked the stars to create their favourite dinner party dish.

Celebrity MasterChef's latest series continued with its second heat tonight (August 16), with more stars trying to impress Gregg Wallace and John Torode in the kitchen. This week saw dancer and reality star MoJo, choir leader Gareth Malone, boxing champion Chris Eubank, EastEnders alumni Cliff Parisi and All Saints' Mel Blatt compete to get through to the next round.
