NEWARK, N.J. -- The ex-husband of a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member and a reputed mobster have pleaded not guilty to charges that they conspired to assault the woman’s current husband.

Tommy Manzo, the ex-husband of former “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo, was arrested Tuesday on charges of allegedly hiring a member of the Lucchese Crime Family mob to carry out an assault on Dina’s current husband, Dave Cantin, in July 2015.

The ex-husband of former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Dina Cantin (formerly Manzo) was charged by federal prosecutors Tuesday, June 30 with conspiring to assault David Cantin  in the spring of 2015, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey. At the time, Cantin was Dina’s boyfriend. They married in 2017, and Dina confirmed the union in May of 2019.
