Thania Garcia Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign will headline Rolling Loud on March 14, the festival announced on Thursday morning. Under the pseudonym ¥$, West and Ty appear as the only artists on the newly added fourth date for the California festival in Inglewood from March 14 to 17. West preemptively announced his placement in the festival via Instagram writing “Vultures Coming to Rolling Loud,” which prompted the company to follow with their official reveal.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to receive the Global Icon Award and make his live return at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.The rapper will receive the prestigious prize at New Jersey’s famed Prudential Center for his “unparalleled career and continued influence that has achieved unrivaled global success in music and beyond” next Tuesday (September 12).He will also perform on the night live for the first time at the VMAs since 2005.In addition to receiving the Global Icon Award, Diddy is also nominated for four other awards this year two of which include Best Collaboration for his work on ‘Creepin’ (Remix) and ‘Gotta Move On’ featuring Bryson Tiller, Ashanti and Yung Miami as well as Best Rap and Best R&B.He made his debut at the event in 1997 performing ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ live and he went on to host the VMAs in 2005.Last year, the Global Icon Award went to Red Hot Chili Peppers who dedicated their prize to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.Meanwhile, Shakira will also be presented with the Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs, which was previously won in 2022 by Nicki Minaj, while other past winners include Madonna, Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, Jennifer Lopez and Missy Elliott.Taylor Swift, Doja Cat and SZA lead this year’s nominations with Swift getting eight nods, and the latter receiving six. Rihanna‘s heavily-anticipated halftime show performance.According to statistics gathered from both Nielsen Fast National data and Adobe Analytics, as reported by Fortune, the performance averaged 118.7million viewers. This officially makes it the second most-watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time, behind Katy Perry‘s 2015 performance – which still holds the record at an average of 121million.Furthermore, Rihanna’s appearance out-performed the Super Bowl itself as a whole, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rihanna has announced that she will be headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2023. The singer, 34, took to Instagram to confirm the news after months of speculation, sharing a simple snap of her holding an American football with no caption. Roc Nation, the NFL and Apple Music, the new halftime show sponsor, also shared the news and confirmed that Rihanna will be performing at State Farm Stadium next year.

The Los Angeles-based Dillard, who plans to maintain a “strong presence” in New York, reports to CMG chair and CEO Michelle Jubelirer and is tasked with signing and developing artists across the pool of Universal Music Group labels. His start date was Sept. 19.
