Selena Kuznikov Get ready for some fun, fun, fun! Disney+ has released the trailer for its “The Beach Boys” documentary, which is set to stream on the platform May 24. The trailer features clips from interviews with original band members, rock and roll historian Josh Kun, music star Janelle Monáe and more. The film is a celebration of the band that encapsulated the California dream in their revolutionary pop music.

The Beach Boys is coming to Disney+ next month.The Beach Boys is described in a press release as “a celebration of the legendary band that revolutionised pop music and the iconic, harmonious sound they created that personified the California dream, captivating fans for generations and generations to come.“The documentary traces the band from humble family beginnings and features never-before-seen footage and all-new interviews.”Interviews include ones with band members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston, as well as musicians including Lindsey Buckingham, Janelle Monáe, Ryan Tedder and Don Was. Former members Carl and Dennis Wilson, Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar are also participating in the documentary.The film is directed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny and was written by Mark Monroe.

‘Endless Summer Gold Tour.’Along the way, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are scheduled to stop into Saratoga Springs (May 25), Staten Island (May 30), New Jersey (June 1) and Long Island (Aug. 8).They’re also scheduled to headline at the star-studded New Orleans Jazz Festival and Louisville, KY’s stacked Bourbon and Beyond Festival this year.Amazingly, this will be the group’s 63rd year together after having formed way back in 1961.To put that in perspective, that’s three whole years before The Beatles ever performed in the good old U.S.

LoCash had a distinct advantage on any other Stagecoach artists who might ever have been tempted to ask the touring Beach Boys to charter a Palm Springs flight: They actually named their new single “Beach Boys.” Mike Love, Bruce Johnston and three members of their touring band first came out midway into LoCasg’s performance to add their harmonies to the new single — the recorded version of which they also harmonize on.
