EXCLUSIVE: Tosin Cole, Michael Gandolfini, Nadine Marshall, James Norton and Anthony Welsh have joined the cast of the untitled Bob Marley biopic for Paramount. Kingsley Ben-Adir has been set to portray the legendary reggae star, with Lashana Lynch playing his wife Rita. King Richard director Reinaldo Marcus Green is helming.

We’ll be seeing actor Kingsley Ben-Adir (“One Night In Miami“) taking on the role of legendary Reggae singer Bob Marley in a new biopic film at Paramount Pictures that is being helmed by “King Richard” director Reinaldo Marcus Green. The combination of director and actor gives the impression that it could end up becoming a festival/awards darling as another impressive addition to the cast has been announced.

Brent Lang Executive Editor of Film and MediaGhostface will strike again.The Woodsboro Killer will return in another, as yet untitled, entry in the “Scream” franchise on March 31, 2023. It appears to have that date to itself, but it will have to contend with the second weekend of “John Wick: Chapter 4.” Paramount and Spyglass Media produced the film and the most recent sequel, which served as a reboot of sorts.

Paramount has dated Spyglass Media’s Scream sequel for March 31, 2023 and its untitled Bob Marley movie starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as the reggae legend for Jan. 12, 2024.
