The Trotters strengthened in the goalkeeping department on transfer deadline day with Lukas Jensen being brought in on loan until the end of the season from Premier League side Burnley. Crellin is also on loan at the Trotters from League One side Fleetwood Town.

The Trotters have been active already in the market this month and have brought in free agent Kieran Lee after he impressed having trained at the club's Lostock training facility in recent weeks. The former Sheffield Wednesday man has signed an 18-month contract at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers is at the University of Bolton Stadium against the Gloucestershire side for the first ever meeting between the two sides. The Bolton manager has made a total of five changes from the side which lost 3-2 to Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Trophy.
