Production on Aziz Ansari’s feature helming debut Good Fortune has been suspended amid the writers strike, Deadline has confirmed. WGA pickets forced a shutdown of the Keanu Reeves-Seth Rogen pic Thursday night.

We’re told that the production only shuttered for one day.
Aziz Ansari is making his feature directorial debut with Good Fortune at Lionsgate, a movie he’ll also write and star alongside with Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen. Lionsgate will launch sales for the pic at Cannes next month, which is also when cameras roll in LA. The storyline is under wraps.

Focus Features announced today that it will release James Gray’s semi-autobiographical drama Armageddon Time in limited theaters on October 28. The film will expand domestically on November 4 before going nationwide on the 11th.
