Jay-Z and his team of attorneys are once again stepping in to aid in the defense of demonstrators who were arrested while protesting the shooting death of Alvin Cole.The 17-year-old was shot by police in Wisconsin on February 2.

A Wisconsin police chief on Monday said he sees no reason why one of his officers who was cleared in the shooting of a Black teen earlier this year should be fired. Joseph Mensah, who is also Black, fatally shot Alvin Cole, 17, on Feb.

Authorities in Wauwatosa, Wis., arrested protesters Sunday night they accused of disobeying the city’s 7 p.m. curfew that has been in place after several nights of unrest, a report said.

The mother and sisters of a Black teen killed by a police officer earlier this year were arrested Thursday night as protesting continued in a Milwaukee suburb over the officer being cleared of criminal charges in the teen’s death, according to a report. The arrests came around 9 p.m., hours after a 7 p.m.
