Weather experts have confirmed that snowfall is on the way for Scotland this week as temperatures begin to drop.

Scots are being urged to brace for more disruption this morning as more snow is on the way.

Heavy rain in Greater Manchester is set to make way to more settled conditions over the weekend.

More yellow weather warnings for snow and ice are in place across Scotland on Friday as the country experienced some of the coldest March temperatures for 13 years this week. A warning for snow and ice is in place for most of northern and eastern Scotland, as well as the central belt.
