People 'in tears' after little boy, 9, leaves surprising message underneath mum's shopping list

A mum was left gobsmacked after discovering a surprising message left by her nine-year-old son underneath her shopping list. The little lads' sweet gesture shocked the mum-of-two after she had written a list of things she had to buy ready for his return to school.

Dora Bobbins explained in a viral video that she had made a list at the beginning of the summer holidays of things she needed to buy her two sons before they head to school in September, as she wanted to make sure she didn't forget anything.

But when one of her sons saw the list, he handed her a small package alongside a note which read "for school shopping list on fridge". Inside it, the generous little boy had gifted Dora several coins from his pocket money, amounting to around £5, to help her pay for it, reports the Mirror.

In her video, which was posted to her @dorabobbins TikTok account, Dora said: "I challenge you to find a better child than mine. This list has been on my fridge since the holidays started. It's just a checklist so I know what I need to get for the children for going back to school.

"Well, children see a lot more than you think. So my little boy disappears upstairs, being a bit weird, and then he comes back down with a letter for me, and it says, 'for school shopping list on fridge'. And look! How adorable is that?"

The mum then explained that she has enough money to buy the items - which included 10 t-shirts and six pairs of trousers, as well as school shoes, lunch boxes, and PE gear - so wasn't expecting the sweet gesture from her son.

She added: "I've got money for school uniforms, I don't know why he’s worrying, but the fact that he … adorable."
