Normally, that sort of announcement means that fans will be disappointed and almost immediately begin petitioning for some sort of sequel, prequel, or spinoff.

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has said that a movie will definitely happen once the show ends.The showrunner elaborated on the news that the show’s sixth season will be its last, having said “the story will continue in another form”.“Covid changed our plans,” Knight recently told Deadline. There is bad news for Peaky Blinders fans this week as it was announced the show will wrap for good after season six.
