Manchester United made it four wins on the spin thanks to a pulsating 3-1 victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford's brace secured the points for Erik ten Hag's side after Bukayo Saka had cancelled out debutant Antony's opener. But the scoreline belied what was for the most part a tight contest. Merson hit back suggesting there was a certain way to lose a game, leading to Keane responding: "Ah right have a sing-song on the way back because you played well and lost the game. Rubbish, rubbish, it’s about winning.
"That’s the question mark about this Arsenal group of players. They had a great start to the season but when it went to 1-1 the momentum is with them and they go on to to lose the game. At least get a draw. They got giddy and excited."
While Merson disagreed with Keane over his thoughts on Arsenal's performance, he concurs that United are turning into a fearsome team under Ten Hag. Speaking about the period from the game being all-square to the hosts going 3-1 up, Merson said: "They (United) were dominant for that 15 minutes, it was one-way traffic, they were going through them like a knife
