Meghan Markle "surprised" the Queen with a three-word response when the late monarch offered her advice as she joined the Royal Family, a royal author has claimed.The Duchess of Sussex, 41, reportedly sat down with the Queen for a one-to-one chat, where Meghan is believed to have been welcomed into the family with some kind words from the late monarch. According to royal author Robert Jobson in his new book 'Our King', the Queen said she was "so pleased Harry had at last found love" and that Meghan was "warmly welcomed" to the family.The author says that during this chat, the Queen advised Meghan to turn to Sophie, the then Countess of Wessex, for support – as she had also married into the family.
