British Poultry Council (BPC) has warned turkey supplies for Christmas 2020 could “collapse” unless the Uk Government grants an exemption from Covid-19 quarantine restrictions for foreign seasonal workers. The proposed exemption will cover at least 1,000 seasonal workers coming from Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia at the end of October 2020.
