Fans of hit Channel 5 show, Our Yorkshire Farm, have gone wild for Amanda Owen 's son after he made a romantic gesture out of a marrow. Amanda, known as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, 48, took to Instagram to post some sweet snaps of her children and a giant marrow that they had grown as the family entered a vegetable competition in Harrogate. The "mutant marrow" was bigger than one of Amanda's youngest daughters as she was knelt down, and in other pictures, her eldest son Reuben, 18, took to the marrow with a knife as he carved something out of it.
In the later pictures, it became clear that he had carved out a heart, as he showed the heart-shaped hole that was left in the giant marrow. In another snap posted by Amanda, Reuben beamed as he held up the cut-out marrow heart next to a girl who looked both delighted and a little sheepish.
Amanda's followers were quick to speculate in the comments section as to whether this was Reuben's new girlfriend, with one writing: "Fabulous pictures and is Reuben courting? Lovely couple." Another wrote: "Reuben you old romantic you," whilst someone else commented: "Aww how lovely Reuben, lucky girl." It turns out that the girl is indeed Reuben's girlfriend, named Sarah Dow, and she can be seen in plenty of snaps on his Instagram page, which is public. He even has her initials 'S.D.' in his Instagram bio, along with a love heart. The couple appear to have been dating since the start of this year, after Reuben made a sweet half-year anniversary post to his love in June.
After posting a number of sweet snaps of the pair, the lovestruck 18 year old wrote: "Can’t believe you have put up with me for 6 months. #youralegend #ily." He also recently posed alongside her as she looked lovely in a prom
