‘Our Kind Of People’: Joe Morton To Co-Star In Fox Drama Series

The Weeknd is all set to give another shot to acting after starring in an episode of the animated series, American Dad in 2020 and also playing a fictionalized version of himself in Adam Sandler's 2019 film, Uncut Gems. This time, the singer is gearing up for a bigger role as he will not only star in an upcoming HBO series but will also be co-writing it.

The Weeknd is set to star in, produce and co-write a new HBO drama series currently titled, l, the singer's rep confirmed. The series will follow a female pop singer who starts a romance with an enigmatic L.A.
