One of the first theatre shows to take place in Manchester since lockdown restrictions ended has had to be cancelled, following a positive coronavirus case in the crew.
Theatre has finally been able to resume since the so-called 'freedom day' on July 19, when all legal limits on social contact ended.
Manchester's independent Hope Mill Theatre were among the first to spring back to action, erecting a mini festival site in Ancoats for their Hope Fest celebrations.

Coronation Street's Millie Gibson and her co-star Maximus Evans have been spotted looking extra summery as the cast and crew wrapped up for the day after filming tense court scenes. As the production team called it quits for the day, both Millie and Maximus could be seen leaving the set in the breezy summer outfits as temperatures soar up to 30 degrees in Manchester city centre.
