At The Disco brought a cinematic version of ‘Don’t Let The Light Go Out’ to the MTV VMAs 2022 tonight (August 28).The band performed their recent single to the stage at Newark’s Prudential Center, where the ceremony was held this year.Shot in black-and-white, Panic! At The Disco performed with a vintage car on stage with them, which became a podium for members of the band to perform from during the song.Pyrotechnics and dry ice also filled the performance, while dancers brought a theatrical edge to the epic rendition. The cameras turned to colour as the song hit its final throes and the car’s headlights turned on.

As Dusk Falls developer Interior/Night has talked about the recent release of its first game, and how the studio wants to continue creating narrative games that push “boundaries” in the industry.Interior/Night CEO and creative director Caroline Marchal spoke to The Loadout last week (August 5) about how the studio wants to continue making narrative-driven games, and bringing people into the medium in general.“We’re a narrative studio and we’re going to keep making narrative games that push the boundaries of the medium and really try to attract more people into games,” said Marchal. “We’re all storytellers in the studio, and we love what we’re making.”That said, the studio behind As Dusk Falls isn’t afraid to innovate and experiment on from its previous work, especially if the game being made warrants new ideas.

At The Disco have shared an upbeat new single called ‘Local God’ – check it out below.The song is the final single to be shared from their upcoming new album, ‘Viva Las Vengeance’ after the title track was previously shared and last single, ‘Middle Of A Breakup‘.Speaking about the album’s title track recently, frontman Bronson Urie said: “’Viva Las Vengeance’ is a look back at who I was 17 years ago and who I am now with the fondness I didn’t have before.“I didn’t realize I was making an album and there was something about the tape machine that kept me honest.”The album is set to be released on August 19 via Fueled By Ramen and will focus on “the fine line between taking advantage of your youth, seizing the day and burning out,” according to a release.It’s also said to take an introspective look into the singer songwriter’s decade-plus career and his experiences with growing up in Las Vegas, love, and fame.Check out the video for the latest track here:The band have also announced that they will be celebrating their album release on August 19 with an outdoor performance at New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza as part of the Citi Summer Concert Series on NBC’s TODAY.Panic!
