Last week, in America the Supreme Court overturned the Roe V Wade ruling. This 1973 legislation protected a person’s right to choose to have an abortion, but now every state can choose their own laws for the medical procedure. It is particularly devastating as research depicts that restricting access to abortions doesn’t stop them from happening, but instead prevents them taking place safely.

But I’m also equally as heartbroken over what happened in America yesterday."
