Olivia Bowen has spoken out about her first few days of motherhood after giving birth to her baby boy Abel.The former Love Island star, 28, welcomed her first child with her husband Alex Bowen, 30, on Friday 10, June. Olivia and Alex first met in the 2016 series of Love Island, where they finished second place.They then got engaged a year later and married in 2018.Taking to her Instagram stories, Olivia shared a snap of Abel sleeping on her chest.
She wrote: "Thank you for all your messages they are so heartfelt and kind, they mean everything to us! "It's been a crazy few days taking some seriously snuggly days now." Ahead of the baby's arrival, Olivia told OK! how she was feeling about becoming a mum, stating: "I know that having a baby I'm going to be judged for whatever I do.
"I’ve seen so many parents being judged for silly things like giving their baby a dummy or not. I think I will be a little more nervous than usual to post things when the baby is here for this reason.
"But at the end of the day, we’ll be learning on the job, which Alex always reminds me, and we will make mistakes but we will learn as we go." She added: "I really want to give our baby as much privacy in the first few months, but I know we’re going to be the proudest parents and will want to share the next step of parenthood with everyone.
