Hollyoaks actress Abi Phillips has revealed she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the age of 28, despite doctors initially dismissing her concerns.

Ex Oasis and Beady Eye rocker Bonehead has been told he is suffering from tonsil cancer.
Bonehead, whose real name is Paul Arthurs, told fans on his Twitter feed of his devastating condition on Tuesday April 26.
And following the diagnosis, he has pulled out of upcoming gigs with Liam Gallagher and the gang.
The guitarist has been a staple of the lead singer's solo project, with the two regularly keeping fans entertained with their banter online.
Bonehead, who quit Oasis in 1999 in order to spend time with his wife and children, wrote in a statement: "Just to let you all know I’m going to be taking a break from playing for a while.
"I’ve been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, but the good news is it’s treatable and I’ll be starting a course of treatment soon.
He added: "I’ll keep you posted how it’s going, I’m gutted I’m missing the gigs with Liam and the band.
Have the best summer and enjoy the gigs if you’re going, I’ll see you soon xxx.’
Liam reTweeted the message and wrote: "Sending BIG love to the 1 n only Bonehead and his family wishing you a speedy recovery we’re all thinking of you rasta you’ll be back on stage bfore you can say r we doing Colombia LG x"
Bonehead, alongside Liam and Noel Gallagher, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll is a founding member of Oasis.
Other members included Gem Archer, Alan White and Andy Bell, who also wrote a message saying: "Get well soon Bone."
