New York City data shows rat sightings have spiked.  According to FOX 5, rodent sightings are up 70% from the same time two years ago.  More than 21,500 sightings were reported to the Big Apple's 3-1-1 service request line between Jan. 1 and Sept. 30.  That number has risen by 18,601 rat calls from last year.

Documents from the Florida Department of Transportation released Friday reportedly show that the state has paid nearly $1 million to arrange two sets of flights, carrying approximately 100 migrants who had entered the country illegally, to Delaware and Illinois. Critics slammed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday for referring to America's youth as "our children" during her interview with late night talk show host Seth Meyers.  "When you see our kids, and I truly believe that they are our children, they are the children of our country, of our communities, I mean, our future is really bright if we, if we prioritize them, and therefore prioritize the climate crisis and the need to address it. If we think about our children, prioritizing the need to bring our country together," Harris said.  Harris and Meyers were discussing a photo of the vice president surrounded by children in a classroom in Connecticut.

The head of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) claims that moves by Republican governors to transport illegal immigrants deeper into the interior are acting as a "pull factor" drawing more migrants to the border. Republican governors have been sending migrants north since April, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott started busing them to Washington, D.C.

Local New York City officials said Tuesday on "Fox & Friends First" they're concerned about Staten Island schools seeing an "unsustainable" influx of migrant children by next week.  Travis Civic Association President Gene Guerra said the school in his neighborhood is already "overflowing" and he's unsure if the principal would be able to accept more students. "There's really no place to put these children," said Guerra, telling host Carley Shimkus one school is already using a cafeteria as a classroom.  The move comes as Texas continues to send migrants from the southern border to sanctuary cities such as New York City.  Migrants leave for a shelter from the Port Authority bus terminal in New York, the United States, on Sept.

California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's reelection campaign put up a billboard in Austin, Texas, promoting his state's abortion access for women. The billboard, placed just south of Stassney Lane in South Austin, features a woman sitting with her arms crossed over her knees looking toward a pro-abortion message that reads, "Need an abortion? California is ready to help."  The advertisement also includes California's abortion resources website and a Bible verse.  "Love your neighbor as yourself.There is no greater commitment than these," the billboard reads, quoting Mark 12:31.

Officials in New York City say that a man jumped from a luxury hotel in Times Square on Friday, which was being planned by Mayor Eric Adams to be used to house migrants. A spokesperson for the New York City Police Department said that officers responded to a 911 call of an unconscious person on Friday at 11:24 a.m. When officers arrived on the scene, the spokesperson said that a 38-year-old man was found in front of the Row hotel and said that he had injuries "indicative from a fall from an elevated position." Emergency medical workers pronounced the man dead.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency Friday in response to the continued arrival of illegal migrants from southern states. More than 17,000 migrants have been bused to the city since the spring, a small fraction of the migrant encounters at the border over that timeframe.

Another bus carrying illegal migrants stepped off the bus in Washington, D.C., Thursday morning, not far from Vice President Kamala Harris' residence. Additionally, two more migrant buses arrived in New York City at Manhattan's Port Authority transportation hub Thursday. Seven buses arrived in New York on Wednesday.

Thania Garcia Harry Styles had one special Texan fan in the audience during his nearly sold-out mini-residency at Austin’s Moody Center: Democratic Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke. Styles appeared on stage that night flashing a “Beto for Texas” sticker on his guitar and, at one point in the show, he gestured to the logo while the venue’s big screens zoomed in on the endorsement and suddenly switched to reveal O’Rourke in the pit, smiling among the cheering audience.
