Phillip Schofield, 59, has looked back on the skating dance routine he performed with former co-host Christine Lampard, 42. The Dancing On Ice host said he was “persuaded” to do the routine but that he would not do it again.Phillip explained how he and Christine practised for the nerve-racking moment and that he initially thought they were “incredible”.He told Daily Star: “I'm not going to do it anymore.“I’ve had my moment on the ice.""When Holly was having babies, I did the show with Christine [Lampard]."Christine and I were persuaded to do a routine on the ice.”Phillip went on: “We practised, and practised and practised."I thought we were incredible, we went out and I could feel the wind whistling through my hair through the routine and I thought, 'This is amazing.'”However, it was when he looked back on his performance that Phillip realised that he had his final “moment” on ice.He continued: “I watched it back and I had never seen anyone go so slowly.“And I thought, 'Okay that felt better than it looked, I think I'm not going to do it anymore.'"So, I've had my moment on the ice."Phillip recently admitted that Dancing On Ice bosses have “banned” him from hitting the rink.He said they were worried he might hurt himself while attempting to ice skate. It followed a close call back when the show began 15 years ago.He told The Sun: “So I had a go, then I looked up and there were five suits standing on the lectern and I thought, ‘That doesn't look good.’“They said, ‘You are not insured, you can't skate, you have to come off.’“I thought if I take responsibility for myself, it's nobody's fault if I fall over and hurt myself.”But that did not prevent the popular This Morning star from getting a scolding.Phillip added: “So the.

plane crash has been told as she spoke out for the first time.Laney Perdue and here dad, Mike, 43, were heading out on a flight to Beaver Island from Gaylord, Michigan – just a 20-minute journey – when things began to go wrong very quickly. She was going to visit friends, while her dad was off to hunt with family, back in November. All Laney remembers of her journey was getting on the plane at 1.30pm, and then being held by her father in a “bear hug”-like grip. She told People magazine: “(I remember looking out of ) one of those little windows and seeing the grass and feeling my dad's arm around me.“I felt this feeling in my stomach like the plane just dropped, and my dad had his feet out like he was bracing for something.“The last thing I remember is my dad giving me the tightest hug ever - I'm alive because of him.”The plane had crashed, just three miles away from where it was due to land.Sadly, her dad was killed, as were two other passengers, two dogs and pilot William Julian. The youngster ended up with 11 broken bones as well as injuries to her face. Her mum, Christie had to go through the horrendous moment of having to tell Laney that her dad had died.Laney recalled: “I wanted to make sure he was okay, I kind of knew he had passed, but I wasn't sure.“I just broke down crying - I'm so sad, but I know Dad would want us to be okay.

Ralf Rangnick explains Cristiano Ronaldo sub after Man Utd diva's angry tantrum
Cristiano Ronaldo after the superstar’s angry reaction to being hauled off during Manchester United’s win at Brentford.Ronaldo started up-front for United and played a crucial role in the Mason Greenwood goal that ultimately sealed the three points for Rangnick’s men.The Portuguese attacker chested a lofted ball forward into the path of Bruno Fernandes who sprinted through on goal before playing a squared pass to Greenwood to tap-in.But nine minutes after that goal, which was United’s second of the game, Rangnick opted to replace Ronaldo with centre-back Harry Maguire.Ronaldo was left furious by that decision, slowly walking off the pitch before throwing a coat that had been handed to him by a kit-man to the ground. The 36-year-old continued to show his frustration while sitting on one of the steps in the dugout at the Brentford Community Stadium. He could be seen gesturing and asking why it was him who had been taken off before shaking his head. While he defended Ronaldo’s angry reaction, Rangnick insisted after the win that it had been the right call. Was Ralf Rangnick's decision to substitute Cristiano Ronaldo the right one? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section...He highlighted the fact that Ronaldo had only recently returned from injury, as well as the events of United’s last game in which they threw away a two-goal lead at Aston Villa, for his reasons.“That is normal - a striker wants to score,” Rangnick told BT Sport when asked about Ronaldo’s reaction to being taken off.“But he has come back from a little injury and it was important to remember we have got another game coming up.Want to be on the ball with all of the latest football news?Well then sign up for the brilliant Daily Star football email

Phillip Schofield used the Story feature to post a video of his co-presenter Holly Willoughby looking all glammed up before the camera panned to the rest of the crew. The blonde beauty looked incredible in her maroon-coloured dress. After taking notice of Phillip’s recording, Holly smiled at the camera as she lifted her glass filled with what appeared to be white wine. “Press day for @dancingonice,” the 59-year-old wrote on his Story’s post.“Or have we set up a call centre on the side?” As the video continued to pan around the room, judge Ashley Banjo provided the entertainment with jokes as his fellow co-stars laughed in hysterics. A handful of wine bottles were seen on a table in the middle of the room.Dancing On Ice returns to ITV on Sunday, with Ashley, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean reprising their roles as judges on the programme. John Barrowman, who was axed following last year’s series, has since been replaced by Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse. ITV confirmed John’s departure in October, having served as a judge for just two years.“We thank John Barrowman for two brilliant years on the Dancing On Ice panel,” they said. “[We] are pleased to be working with him again as host of the forthcoming All Star Musicals specials.”In an interview with The Mirror this month, Phillip touched on the Doctor Who star’s exit from Dancing On Ice, saying that Oti’s addition to the show was “amazing”.Yet the father-of-two will miss John being part of the series, saying: “I adore John and obviously we will miss that larger than life personality.“But in every panel you want to make sure each area is well and truly serviced.“Oti will definitely be the one to pick them up on their dancing and their dancing skills and that’s really
