Britain’s beef with James Corden? He’s one of our most successful showbiz exports, hosting an Emmy-winning chat show, earning plaudits on Broadway and starring in blockbuster films. He’s created beloved TV franchises such as Carpool Karaoke over there and Gavin & Stacey over here. Yet for some reason in his native UK, Corden is “divisive”, to put it politely.

James Corden is bringing The Late Late Show back to the UK in just a few days and we can’t wait for his return. The popular chat-show will feature Carpool Karaoke with Lizzo and studio guests including Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish. The late night American talk show will see host James filming episodes from the Freemasons’ Hall in London, which will be broadcast from June 28 to July 1.

Lizzo is getting the “Carpool Karaoke” treatment on James Corden’s “The Late Late Show,” with her segment set to air during the program’s London residency.No details were provided in a Thursday release from CBS on when or where the Lizzo “Carpool Karaoke” was filmed, but it will debut the week of June 27.
