Netflix is on the hunt for help to work on Meghan Markle's TV series Pearl at the same time that Spotify is reportedly taking her and Prince Harry's podcast "into their own hands". Now, it appears Netflix could be taking a page out of Spotify's book as they shared an advert on LinkedIn to look for a Production Designer to help work on the series. The ad states that the person who bags the roll "will help to develop, create, and support the aesthetic vision of our Executive Producer Team, working closely with the Show Runner to design multiple worlds representing various time periods throughout history." The ideal candidate needs a minimum of three years experience, knowledge in drawing tools and Photoshop as well as an understanding in colour theory, lighting, staging, and perspective.
Meghan and her husband Harry, 37, are set to work alongside Elton John's husband David Furnish among others for the show. Netflix's news comes after Spotify is said to be taking Meghan and Harry's Archwell podcast “into their own hands” as the pair have failed to produce new content for it for more than a year.
It was announced in December 2020 that the former Royals had signed a whopping £18 million deal with the music streaming giant, which promised to “uplift audiences around the world”. However, over a year on from the announcement, Meghan and Harry are yet to release new content, which fans of the couple hoped would drop last year.
