Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Production has just started at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios on “Finalmente L’alba” the new film by “My Brilliant Friend” director Saverio Costanzo. It is set during the 1950s when the famed filmmaking facilities were known as Hollywood on the Tiber.  This high-end costume drama – the title of which translates as “Finally, Dawn Has Come” – features a stellar cast comprising Lily James (“Pam & Tommy”), Joe Keery (“Stranger Things”), Rachel Sennott (“Shiva Baby”), Willem Dafoe, and Italian newcomer Rebecca Antonaci. “Finalmente” is the journey over the course of a long and intense night of an aspiring young Italian actress, played by Antonaci. In the Cinecittà studios of the 1950s, she experiences some memorable hours that will mark her transition to full blown womanhood.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the follow-up to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, will be released globally on Netflix December 23, Netflix announced.

Millie Bobby Brown is back on Netflix with 2 as the streamer confirmed the film sequel will make its debut on the platform on Friday, November 4. The Stranger Things star will not be up against demogorgons but will be on the hunt to crack a mystery.

Netflix has given a first look at Enola Holmes 2 – revealing its official launch date. The streaming platform shared snaps on Twitter this afternoon giving fans an insight into what they can expect from the sequel. Based on the books by Nancy Springer, the new movie follows the 2020 hit Enola Holmes.

Yossman The BBC and Amazon Prime Video have released first-look images of Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer in upcoming period drama “The English.”Written and directed by Hugo Blick (“The Honourable Woman”), “The English” is a Western set in 1890s America where an aristocratic Englishwoman called Lady Cornelia Locke (played by Blunt) and Pawnee ex-cavalry scout Eli Whipp (played by Spencer) join forces “to cross a violent landscape built on dreams and blood,” according to the logline.

Lionsgate has released a first look image for The Hunger Games: Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes. The film is a prequel to the wildly successful Hunger Games franchise starring Jennifer Lawrence. Susan Collins who wrote the original Hunger Games novels decided to follow it up with a prequel that takes place 64 years before Katniss Everdeen became a district 12 tribute.
