Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are back for another raucous, deadly adventure in “Murder Mystery 2.”Netflix dropped the first trailer to the anticipated sequel on Monday, showcasing a new murder mystery after Sandler’s Nick and Aniston’s Audrey are invited to a private island for a wedding – with fatal results.“We’re not gonna be invited anywhere ever again,” Aniston quips in the trailer. Per an official synopsis from Netflix, the film takes four years after the action of “Murder Mystery.”“Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston) are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground when they’re invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island,” the release reads.

It’s deux or die – they’re joke, not ours – with the new trailer for Murder Mystery 2, the Netflix sequel that pairs Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as the married couple with a knack for sleuthing and trouble.

If we’re going to look at pioneers in the streaming space, while we want to namecheck David Fincher who took “House Of Cards” to Netflix in 2013—one of the first big A-list talent milestones in the streaming era—not far behind him has to be comedian Adam Sandler. When Netflix started hyper analyzing its data in the early 2010s, its algorithms told them that Sandler’s movies were super popular globally.

Now there are even fewer resources available, the wage gap is beyond repair and it’s unaffordable. Rockwell drew inspiration from this and created a coming-of-age story about finding an identity and chosen family.

Earlier today, Netflix unveiled its teaser trailer for all of the major film releases the streamer will debut in 2023. Yes, there were the usual suspects, folks like Kevin Hart, Adam Sandler, and Chris Hemsworth all have new projects coming to Netflix, per usual.

Netflix offered a first look at its 2023 slate of films on Wednesday, including a brand new thriller from David Fincher, a sci-fi epic from Zack Snyder, Chris Hemworth’s “Extraction” sequel, a Jennifer Lopez survival movie and an Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston comedy.Hemsworth will return in “Extraction 2” this summer on June 16, with Sam Hargrave back in the director’s chair for another action-fueled adventure.Fincher’s “The Killer” – which reunites the filmmaker with his “Seven” screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker for a serial killer tale starring Michael Fassbender – won’t arrive until Nov. 10, so Fincher fans have awhile to wait.Ditto Zack Snyder’s next film, “Rebel Moon.” That project is a two-part space epic, with the first installment set as Netflix’s big holiday season release on Dec.

There’s no surprises on Netflix‘s English-language TV and film charts in the U.S. for the week of January 9 to January 15.
