The UK's best-selling single of 1984 was Do They Know It's Christmas? by Band Aid, with chart sales in excess of 2.4 million, according to Official Charts Company data.

Lana Del Rey has scored the fastest-selling vinyl album of the century in the UK by a female artist and for international acts.The LA-based musician has achieved the feat with her new album ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’, which was released last week (March 19).The record sold 16,700 vinyl copies in the last seven days, according to the Official Charts Company.

Amazon is set to double down on its sports output in the UK by taking rights to rugby union’s Six Nations Championship in a shared deal with the BBC and ITV, according to British newspaper The Times.
